Inside the Lead Intelligence Module: Contact, Company, and Project Search
Most B2B sales teams don't really have a data problem — they have a scattered data problem. Contact details live in one tool, company information in another, and project or buying signals get pieced together from news alerts, LinkedIn, and word of mouth. By the time a rep has the full picture of a prospect, the opportunity has often moved on.

The Lead Intelligence module, part of VCMO, was built to fix that. It has three simple parts — Company Search helps you find companies, Contact Search helps you find contacts, and Project Search helps you find projects. Together, they help a rep go from "who should we talk to" to "why should we talk to them now," all in one place.
Contact Search: Finding the Right Person
Contact Search helps you find the right contacts at a company. Reaching the wrong person is one of the most common reasons outreach fails quietly.
Instead of a flat list of names and titles, it lets reps filter by role and seniority — so a rep can go straight to the decision-maker instead of sorting through everyone at a company. Each contact comes with details like email, phone number, designation, and LinkedIn profile, all tied to verified company and role data, so reps aren't wasting time on outdated or mismatched information.
The result: less time checking if a contact is worth reaching out to, and more time actually writing the message.
Company Search: Understanding Who You're Selling To
Company Search helps you find companies. A contact only matters in context, and this is where that context comes from — company size, sector, location, and other basic details that show whether a company is a good fit.
This helps reps decide which companies to prioritize before they ever send an email, instead of finding out halfway through a call that it wasn't a fit to begin with.
Project Search: Catching the Right Moment
Project Search helps you find projects — including ones a rep often wouldn't find on their own. This kind of information isn't sitting in one obvious place, and finding it manually usually takes hours of digging.
It works across every sector, and a rep isn't limited to one project at a time — a single search can bring back several relevant projects. And it doesn't stop at the project itself: from a project, a rep can also see the company behind it and the contacts to reach out to, all in the same place. That's what turns a project from just a headline into a real outreach opportunity.
A new project often means new budget and new decisions being made, with a short window before a vendor gets picked. Project Search puts that information right next to the company and contact data, so outreach can be timed to something real instead of sent cold.
Why the Three Work Better Together
Each search solves a real problem on its own. Together, they change how the whole workflow feels:
- Company Search answers who's worth pursuing
- Project Search helps find projects
- Contact Search answers who to actually talk to
A rep can move from a good-fit company, to the project creating urgency, to the right person to contact — without switching tools or losing the thread.
Built to Feel Like One Search, Not Three
The bigger win is how naturally the three connect. A rep doesn't have to export a list from one search and manually check it against another — moving from a company, to its projects, to the right contact happens in the same flow, on the same screen. There's no re-entering filters, no juggling spreadsheets, no losing context halfway through. It works the way a rep's actual thought process works: find the company, understand what's happening there, find the person to talk to about it.
That said, the three don't have to be used together every time. If a rep just needs to find contacts, they can use Contact Search on its own — the same goes for Company Search or Project Search individually. The connection between them is there when you need it, not a requirement to get started.
Everything Flows Into the CRM
Whatever a rep finds — a company, a contact, or a project — gets saved directly into the CRM. There's no manual copy-pasting into a spreadsheet or a separate tool. And once a contact is in the CRM, a rep can email them straight from there, without switching to a different app to send outreach.
This is what ties all three modules together: find, save, and reach out, all in one connected system.
